QUOTE:
The Five Stages of Life Travelling Travailing Revelling Revealing Unravelling Toby is currently in the travelling stage, which doesn't mean physically travelling per se (although it might) but basically getting around...ideas, people, places, languages, love. Travailing means working at s***, your craft, your marriage, your parenthood, your sports, your dealings with other people. It is both the the french sense of the word (travail) and the english sense (travail or burden). It is often hard (Pain is the art entering the apprentice). Then you arrive at a revelling stage (after all that pain) when basically you realise what you can and cannot do and you begin to enjoy the things you can do, and revel in the friendships, talents, discoveries, places, other worlds where you have been and.or endured. Then one day, with approaching mortality, you begin (or rather the world begins) to reveal things to yourself, and you begin to look backwards , forwards, and around yourself, really for the first time. Then the whole thing unravels and you die.
